This project involved creating video content in Unreal Engine for an architectural visualization project in Saudi Arabia, directly collaborating with architectural teams to reflect their project iterations. My role centered on the technical execution and visual enhancement, detailed texturing, lighting and animation to bring the architectural designs to life.
This project was born from a desire to explore the synergy between Blender’s modeling prowess and Unreal Engine’s real-time rendering capabilities. I envisioned and constructed a futuristic train station, utilizing it as a canvas to experiment with Unreal Engine’s lighting and animation, ultimately transforming a blank slate into a vibrant, dynamic scene.
This personal project served as an architectural visualization exploration, combining Blender for modeling and Unreal Engine for real-time rendering. Key goals were to deepen my understanding of Procedural Content Generation (PCG) within Unreal Engine, experiment with lighting and mood creation, and refine my modeling skills. The project aimed to create a visually compelling scene that showcased these technical and artistic explorations.
While working at Satore Studio, I had the opportunity to create a truly interactive visual experience for Sonar Festival. I designed an environment where musicians could directly influence the visuals in real-time. This involved detailed 3D modeling in Blender, seamless integration with Unreal Engine for live rendering, and leveraging Megascans for realistic textures and assets. The result was a dynamic and evolving environment that responded to the music, creating a unique and immersive performance.
This project, created at Satore Studio, explored the intersection of dance performance and particle-based visuals. Dancers were captured using a Kinect camera, generating point cloud data. Houdini was then employed to merge and process this data, optimizing it for real-time performance. Finally, the processed point cloud data was integrated into Unreal Engine’s Niagara system to create dynamic and responsive particle effects, visualizing the dancers’ movements in a unique and artistic way.
This project for Beaulieu at Yondr was an exploration of textile representation through motion graphics. I focused on using cloth simulation to bring the fabrics to life, creating visually engaging shots that emphasized their textures and properties. The process involved extensive experimentation to achieve a dynamic and contemporary visual language
