About
I’m Finlay Shaw, a final-year Film and Broadcast Production student at Edge Hill University with a passion for live journalism and storytelling.
I’ve gained practical media experience by collaborating with Travel Radar, producing written and multimedia content, and co-hosting a college podcast. I also ran an independent study into TikTok trends to understand what drives engagement on digital platforms. My leadership experiences as Editorial Coordinator at Travel Radar and Head Boy at Dubai British School, along with training from EtonX and ScreenSkills, have sharpened my editorial judgment, research, and collaboration skills. I’m excited to build a career in the media world and contribute fresh ideas and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment.
