My name is John Franco Schirripa. I’m a New York based organist, music teacher, orchestral violinist, and pianist/accompanist, who works in areas such as Larchmont, Throggs Neck, and Yonkers. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in composition and theory from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA; My Master’s degree in Piano Performance from Hunter College (2015); and most recently music education ceritification from Lehman College. I work primarily as a teacher in the Catholic Schools system as well as a church organist on the weekends planning and performing liturgies. I also appear on stage as a violinist with the Lehman Community Orchestra. My passion for music burgeoned in high School (Regis High School) when I studied classical rep with Steinway Artist Kazuko Hayami and continued to grow as I entered the accademici arena as a teacher and performer.
