Hi, I’m Gabriele Marroni, a documentary editor & colorist with a strong foundation in both theory and technique. I graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, and earned a Master in Documentary Filmmaking (“Cinema del Reale”) from Roma Tre University. I directed and edited one of the three episodes of Fuoricampo, which was shown in many international festivals and won an Honourable Mention at RIFF 2017. I also did a color-grading workshop with Alessandro Bernardi at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome. I regularly work with Avid Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, and I have strong skills in audio editing. My experience spans post-production of feature films, shorts, music videos, and lab material management. Recently I edited In Ultimo, a documentary by Mario Balsamo (prod. La Sarraz), selected in competition at the Turin Film Festival. I’m currently editing the docu-series Global Science Fiction, Voices from the Near Futures (prod. Le Talee). I’m looking for collaborative and ambitious documentary or audiovisual projects, especially those that allow creative storytelling and high production values.
