Gabriel Rifilato (Rome, 1955) is an experienced journalist, director, and author of creative photography, deeply committed to the pictorial rhythm of images and to the ritual of the “pittoresco” language. Certified professional from Apple, he has written essays for Rai Eri on cinema and photography.
Since 2013 he has founded Image Factory in Rome, curating exhibitions and experimental workshops in staged photography, characterized by living tableaux based on famous paintings and Neo-pictorial digital retouching. In 2017, with visual artist Floriana Cason, he launched the monthly magazine Roman Walks from Ca’ Art Studio, and he has recently published the Guide to Creative Vision in Photography (Ca’ Art Studio Creative Publishing), blending photographic aesthetics with theatrical scenography, literary narration, and the ambition of a total art experience.
