uniE621 An Anatomy of Apocalyptic Care
An Anatomy of Apocalyptic Care was a commissioned publication for Concordia’s FOFA Gallery 2023 Undergraduate Student Exhibition. uniE621 Bazart Mixology Menu
Bazart is a Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of Montreal that invites guests on a bohemian journey through its cuisine, decor, and musical ambiance. My mandate was to design a cocktail menu that captured the immersive nature of the dining experience. I proposed an oracle deck format for the menu. Each card features an illustration of a cocktail paired with a symbolic word—drawn from its origin story or the alchemy of its ingredients. The back of the card reveals details about the drink, encouraging guests to choose based on intuition and curiosity. This storytelling-driven concept was developed in collaboration with mixologists and copywriters, bringing narrative depth to the hospitality experience. Every season, 12 signature cocktails form a new chapter in Bazart’s evolving story, offering guests a unique, sensory-driven way to explore the menu.
