    Trench Crusade fan art illustration
Hey everyone I finally finished my latest piece, which is fart for Trench Crusade! Took me a long while working and finishing this one. In fact I started to work on it mid-way through my certificate recognition process, but had to halt it to focus on studies. But finally came back and finished it for good. It’s also my first ever piece depicting a full on battle so yeah I believe I did well.😄 I hope you all like it! Trench Crusade belongs to its original owners. Fan art was done by me.…
    Sea canyon illustration.
Hey everyone I recently finished this one here. :D I don't usually do natural sceneries, so thought this could spice up things in my portfolio. Thought of doing also something ambitious too, that being an underwater picture, something of which I've also never tackled before. And as you can see well it's a sea canyon. Way also to close summer with a sea drawing. :) As well I also started signing my works as you can see. Overall I think it turned out good for my first underwater painting.…
Warhammer 40000 Fan Art Illustration: Tyranids vs Space Marines
Hey everyone, another 40K fan piece that I finished the other day. This time the Tyranids (hive fleet Tiamet) versus Space Marines (Raven Guard). I wanted to try here also test my line weight as best as possible. Not going to lie the value stage (greyscale), also looked pretty good too. Funny enough, the Swarmlord was going to be slapping a Land Raider, but after comparing them side by side, thought the latter would be too heavy. So switched it over to slicing a fellow Space Marine. I also thought of making it feel like the panel or cover or page from a comic book. I looked up some coloring techniques but didn't found them all that useful so sticked to my own way of coloring. I might try them again some day. Lastly I love how the smudge tool, adds motion blur which makes movements come all the more alive. :) Anyways your thoughts ? I hope you like it. Warhammer 40000 Fan Art Illustration: Leman Russ Tank versus Orks
Hey everyone another Warhammer 40K fan illustration that I just finished yesterday. I love how this one turned out, as well I added some motion blur to some aspects here and there. Makes it feel more alive. smiley Not too keen on how the blood that gets spilled from the Ork turned out. I don't know why, in the value stage looked more better. Characters belong to Games Workshop. Personal IP "The Hidden Liberator" - Dictator's Office
This is another one of my room designs that I did during my Masters' second term. This is the office of my story's dictator in the first part. Given he is the leader of the now former US, I wanted his office to feel grand and luxurious, while menacing at the same time. Hence the existence of different floor part materials, a portrait of himself, a well sculptured imposing chair, a fireplace etc. I think this is one of my best environment works yet and I am really satisfied with the final outcome. conceptart architecturaldesign architecturalconcept environmentconceptart architectureconceptart environmentaldesign environmentalconcept interiordesign interiorconcept exteriordesign exteriorconcept room roomdesign roomconcept dystopia dystopian dystopiandesign dystopianconcept environment environmentdesign environmentconcept…
Personal IP "The Hidden Liberator" - United Nations Headquarters
This is one of my environment designs, that I did during my Masters' second term. This is also the only exterior based one as the other ones were interior designs. In my story, prior and after to the United States became a dictatorship led regime the United Nations had to be relocated elsewhere and eventually it was in Belgium. I researched into the original creators of the real life UN building, to see their own architectural designs as well the said building as well. I also looked up Brutalist and modern day skyscrapers as well to make it look more futuristic. As well look much more peaceful, compared to the oppressive feel the buildings in the dystopian US has. conceptart architecture environmentconceptart interior interiordesign exterior exteriordesign building buildingdesign buildingconcept environmentconcept interiorconcept exteriorconcept…
Personal IP "The Hidden Liberator" - Biomechanical Airship
In the final term of my Masters, I got to design quite a variety of subjects, which included two vehicle designs. This here one one of them, the main airship of the biomechanical faction that appears in the final part of my story. It is both a gunship, a fighter jet and a dropship. Like the rest of the faction I looked up inspirations from insects, crustaceans, the human and animal skeletons as well cephalopods for inspiration. I really like the head design of this one though, it kind of resembles an elephant skull and still looks mean. Also the Mi-35 helicopter was an other inspiration for this one. I think this one came out pretty well like most of my other subjects that I tackled. As well doing a biomechanical based vehicle design, for the first time wasn't too bad. conceptart digital2D vehicledesign biomechanical technoorganic organictechnologcy airship conceptdesign vehicleconcept…
Personal IP "The Hidden Liberator" - Assault Rifle design
One of the prop designs that I did for my Masters project, during the second term. This is here is the standard issue automatic weapon of the dystopian country's troops and robots. I went for a bullpup design, inspired by the L85 series of rifles as well some other ones too. I never got to design my own weapon concepts, so this one was quite unique though I had to keep in mind its functionality. Thus had to look up how gas operated rifles work, as well keep it as practical as possible. conceptart props guns weapons weaponconcepts gunconcepts weapondesign dystopian gundesign dystopianweapons propdesign…
Personal IP "The Hidden Liberator" - War Room
During my Masters project, in the second term I got to design a couple of environments too. This one here is the War Room, the place where the dictator (the villain of the story's first part) and his high ranking officials (including the main character) come to discuss strategies and reports. Thanks to my supervisor, he suggested the idea that it'd be great if the room was shaped like an eagle, akin to the country's insignia. Which indeed made the location feel all the more unique, as previous concept designs had it to be more square. conceptart environmentdesign interiordesign roomdesign dystopiandesign conceptdesign layout referencesheet environmentsheet dystopia environment environmentdesign…
Personal IP "The Hidden Liberator" - Robot Soldier
This is another character that I designed for my Masters project. This character is from the first part of the story, where the main protagonist is tasked with creating robots for a dictatorship led government. Which is set in a futuristic dystopian former United States. I took inspirations from real life robots, as well given these machines are meant to work both as military and law enforcement I took inspiration from armored vehicles. I have to say for my first robot design, it came out pretty nicely. dystopia characterdesign characterart characterconceptart conceptart dystopian dystopiancharacter dystopiancharacterdesign youngadult yalit youngadultliterature…
Personal IP "The Hidden Liberator" - Biomechanical Soldier
One of the characters that I designed for my Masters project, the last part faction's soldiers. I thought to make them an antithesis of the other robots in the story by making them biomechanical. Basically organic/flesh based technology I took inspiration from HR Giger's work, the human skeleton as well insects, cephalopods, reptiles and crustaceans. The Yuuzhan Vong from the Star Wars Expanded Universe, also served as an inspiration who are also a faction who uses biotechnology too. I have to say I am very pleased with the final result of how this one turned out. biomechanical organic organictechnology technoorganic biopunk characterdesign villaincharacters conceptart ya youngadultseries yaseries youngadult…
University project - Sakodkan Soldier character design
During my first term, on my final undergraduate year I worked on group project to design assets for a fictional Battle Royal game. The name was Battle Republic and was taking place in the near future, where Russia and Japan united under the name of Sakodka (who are the villains by the way in universe). I was put in charge of character design and this one is one of the ones I created. The Sakodkan soldier outfit was inspired by a Russian combat exoskeleton called Ratnik, as well other elements too such as Samurai and tank armor. I aso had to keep in mind to have him be able, to perform three unique abilities. (Backpack machine guns, handheld flamethrower and a targeting system on the helmet). It all came out pretty well in the end. I especially like the helmet as it gives me a Stormtrooper feeling from Star Wars. exo exoskeleton exosuit collab collaboration soldierconcept soldier russia futuresoldier conceptart conceptdesign collaborationproject art characterdesign character…
