In the lead-up to our annual 8-week tour across Australia (in which we host events training, equipping and activating young adults into their God-given calling), I spent time building up a timeline of our campaign launch.
Our main project was the video launch showcasing to our student hosts, churches and organisations who we’re previously partnered with that we are coming back for another tour. I scripted, planned, video recorded, edited and marketed the post to maximise impact and cause YA to take immediate action by signing up to these events.
I used inclusive language to bring more of an invitational vibe to the message, and directly communicated how each person watching this video has a part to play in sharing the Gospel, and that it’s not possible to achieve movement without unity.
We gathered all student hosts on a zoom call and launched the video simultaneously. In doing so, we increased engagement through likes, shares, comments and posting to stories. This led to a spike in response from majority of our followers and many new faces across the Pacific.
Overall, we accumulated 50k+ views before we toured Australia!
