Pika Wiya Health Service | Movember Social Post
Designed a social media campaign for Pika Wiya Health Service to promote Movember and encourage Aboriginal men to prioritise their health through regular check-ups. The objective was to create a bold, community-focused design that resonated with the target audience while reinforcing the campaign's message in a positive and approachable way. The design places local community members at the centre of the artwork, helping create an authentic and relatable connection with the audience. Strong typography was used to ensure the key message, "Change the Face of Men's Health", immediately captures attention, while the moustache icon, Aboriginal artwork, and Pika Wiya branding reinforce the Movember theme and the organisation's identity. A QR code and clear call to action were incorporated to make it easy for viewers to book an appointment and engage with the campaign. The final artwork was optimised for social media, combining impactful imagery, accessible messaging, and a clean visual hierarchy to maximise engagement and encourage conversations around men's health within the community. graphicdesigner designer illustrator
Pika Wiya Health Service | Close The Gap Day | Social Media Post & Flyer
Designed promotional artwork for Pika Wiya Health Service's National Closing the Gap Day celebration, creating a visually engaging campaign to raise awareness of the event and encourage community participation. The brief required a design that reflected the significance of Closing the Gap Day while promoting a range of cultural activities, community services, and family-friendly experiences. Drawing inspiration from Aboriginal artwork, cultural motifs, and the official Closing the Gap branding, I developed a bold visual identity that combined strong typography, traditional pattern elements, and event photography. The layout was designed to immediately capture attention while clearly communicating key information such as the event date, location, schedule, and featured activities. Particular focus was placed on creating a clear hierarchy of information, ensuring the artwork remained easy to read across both print and digital formats. The final design balanced cultural celebration with practical communication, highlighting important community messages while showcasing activities including the smoking ceremony, dance performances, live music, health promotions, children's activities, and participation from local organisations. The artwork was produced for social media and promotional use, helping Pika Wiya Health Service engage the community and celebrate a day focused on justice, equality, healing, and connection. graphicdesigner illustrator designer
