My name is Giorgio Nicotera, I am a 24-year-old graduate in Visual Communication from SUPSI in Mendrisio. Since high school, I have followed an educational path focused on graphic design and communication at the Starting Work Institute in Como. Over the years, I have nurtured my strong passion for design—particularly digital design—and have had the opportunity to gain various work experiences, including in London and Valencia. I later concluded my studies with an apprenticeship at Ovosodo srl, where I laid the foundation for creating templates for applications and websites. During university, I decided to focus more on digital communication techniques, which allowed me to broaden my skill set and discover new interests such as 3D modeling and the development of applications and interfaces. I also began to explore and develop methods for applying AI, which eventually became the subject of my thesis. During this time, I was fortunate to collaborate with several organizations, including RSI, for whom I created a series of motion graphic videos aimed at explaining the world of interaction design in short episodes. These videos were published on the Cult+ Instagram account and also used as resources by RSI EDU. Another collaboration I consider particularly important was with the Ideabile studio in Milan. There, I applied my knowledge of 3D design to support the rebranding of the company BRAVI, by creating environments, lighting, materials, textures, and renderings of their machinery. I believe that all these experiences have made me a creative, dynamic person who is always ready to help, eager to learn, and, above all, determined to prove his worth.
