As an artist I utilize ink, paper and digital tools to assemble the more relevant pieces of experience. In it, childhood and adolescent memories get mixed with present-day, trying to understand where I'm standing in the world as a young woman. Having the impulse to watch time pass by with romantic, rose-colored glasses, my intention isn’t to make a side-by-side replica of reality. Rather, something closer to my own imagination, where edges fade and blur and objects are experimented and felt, all at the same time. Therefore, strong colors characterize everyday scenes, flirting with fantasy elements, like strange shadows and figures. Like a girl writing her diary, my process is fundamentally spontaneous and intuitive.
