Hi! I'm Guido Vercesi, a versatile designer with a cross-disciplinary background in Industrial and Graphic Design. My work spans product design, furniture, and visual communication, stitched together by a calm, detail-oriented approach and a constant curiosity for how form and function meet brand identity across different design cultures (Italy, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic). In addition to client projects, I pursue personal ventures and lead a design collective and an automotive-inspired project studio. I currently co-found Techno Koffie Collective and run Mr.Drive, focusing on modular systems, bespoke spaces, and engaging visual storytelling across social media. I’m actively exploring a future in automotive design, continually learning through courses like CAPAC and design exchanges, while building a practice that blends practical craft with strategic communication.

    paper M2 Modular System

M2 is a modular ABS system designed for both indoor and outdoor use, easy to assemble, transport, and adapt. Created for diverse users and flexible spaces, M2 stands out for its versatility and durability. Each modular element can be configured as a chair, stool, or shelving unit, responding to changing needs. An essential, solid, and modular design that brings together functionality and aesthetics.

M2 was designed to respond to the needs of different users and contexts. It stands out for its simplicity and versatility, qualities that make it an ambitious, comprehensive project while remaining highly functional.

Its strength lies in its modular logic: each component is designed to be easily assembled and disassembled without the use of specific tools, making the system intuitive and accessible to anyone. Simplicity is M2’s defining feature, simplicity in its shapes, lines, materials, transport, and everyday use.
The design is clean and essential, yet not trivial, prioritizing functionality without sacrificing aesthetics.

Made of ABS, a strong and durable material, M2 is intended for both indoor and outdoor use, offering the same solidity and reliability in either condition. The choice of material not only ensures robustness and lightness, but also supports the project’s sustainability thanks to its recyclability and the long lifespan of its components.

Versatility is the other key pillar of the system. M2 was conceived to adapt to users with very different living needs: from a student living in a studio apartment who requires flexible, space-saving solutions, to a family in need of an expandable system that evolves with changing habits, to collective or workspaces that demand adaptable and customizable configurations. A single module can become a chair, a stool, a shelf, a cart, or a platform for moving objects, the combinations are numerous and open to the user’s creativity.

M2 is not just an object, but an open system, a design platform in continuous evolution. Its goal is to promote democratic, flexible, and sustainable design. Modularity is not merely a functional choice, but a true design philosophy aimed at making design more accessible and dynamic
