I have always loved books. Ever since I could remember, books and learning were always my greatest comfort. I decided to translate my love for books into a bachelor's degree in English with a communications minor. My main goal is to find a position that allows me to be creative and thoughtful. I think that my lifelong interest in writing and reading have prepared me for a career in reviews. After all, the work for my college major was almost exclusively book reviews and essays. I have had experience with book reviews in fiction, but I would not consider reviewing fiction and nonfiction to be very different tasks. I’m an eager learner and I am passionate about writing and reading. I am interested in working in proofreading for many reasons. I have always been happy and successful in a creative environment. I say this because I am naturally curious and I love to learn. I am always keeping my mind and my eyes open for new opportunities that will lead me to be better in the future.
