Hi, I’m Heather — a designer and creative marketing pro with more than 15 years of experience bringing brands to life across digital, social, email, and print. I love diving into brand identity work — whether that’s building a fresh visual system from the ground up, giving an existing brand a modern refresh, designing a new logo, or completely reimagining a website so it feels current and true to the business. I’m all about making sure every piece tells the right story and connects with the people you’re trying to reach. You’ll usually find me creating the full ecosystem: eye-catching social media templates, email templates that actually get opened, digital designs for landing pages and campaigns, plus all the supporting content that keeps the brand voice consistent and engaging. I’ve launched everything from big multi-channel marketing campaigns to smaller, nimble refreshes — always with an eye on accessibility, collaboration, and what the data tells us works. Basically, I geek out on turning business goals into visuals and experiences that feel authentic, cohesive, and effective — no matter where your audience is hanging out. Let’s chat about your brand!

    uniE621 Screaming Squirrel Brand Identity
For my client, I led the complete brand launch for Screaming Squirrel Media—a refreshing marketing & design agency that offers top-tier creative and strategy at honest prices, without hidden fees or long-term lock-ins. We started with discovery to nail their core: decades of marketing leadership experience, frustration with overpriced agencies and unreliable freelancers, and a mission to be "creatives on-demand" who build authentic relationships and deliver real results. I created the business name "Screaming Squirrel Media." It captures their high-energy, attention-grabbing style—bold and playful, like a squirrel that's not quietly collecting nuts but screaming to stand out in a noisy market. It rejects stuffy corporate vibes and screams approachability, fun, and impact. I designed the logo: a stylized, energetic squirrel in mid-scream with dynamic lines and expressive flair, integrated with bold, modern typography. It pairs with a vibrant palette—electric pops of teal and orange against clean neutrals—for energy that's memorable but not chaotic. I defined the brand voice & tone: casual, enthusiastic, human, and direct. Full of relatable phrases like "We hear you!", "Let's grab a cup of joe," "ditch the stuffy suits," "roll up our sleeves together," and "squirrel energy included." It's authentic and fun, never corporate—building trust through honesty, humor, and zero fluff. For content & messaging, I wrote foundational copy: taglines like "Rethink the way you do Marketing" and "Unlike any agency you've ever seen!"; service descriptions highlighting transparent, scalable pay-per-use work in branding, strategy, content, and digital/print; plus pain-point solutions and social-proof elements. I built the full website: modern, mobile-first, fast-loading, SEO-optimized structure with strong CTAs ("Let's Have Coffee"), lead forms, services pages, portfolio/case studies, reviews, and "The Nest" blog framework for actionable tips and inspiration. It flows to convert visitors into real conversations. I set up their social presence: optimized profiles (bios, visuals, links aligned to the brand), a 30-day launch calendar blending educational content, behind-the-scenes fun, client wins, and squirrel-themed graphics/reels/stories. Included posting schedules, engagement tactics, and analytics basics to grow organically and drive leads. The outcome? A cohesive, standout brand that's 100% true to their vision—bold, approachable, effective, and ready to scale. From name to live site and social kickoff, it was exciting to bring this energetic, client-first identity to life! logo webdesigner designer branding
    paper Corporate Overview Video

As the Creative Director behind the Stratix Overview video, I have to say—this project was all about clarity, authenticity, and cutting through the clutter in a crowded enterprise tech space. The objective was straightforward but ambitious: We needed a short, compelling piece that instantly communicates the full scope of what Stratix does—end-to-end managed mobility services—while spotlighting our biggest differentiator: we truly handle everything in-house, from start to finish. No handoffs to third parties, no fragmented supply chains. From initial strategy and procurement, through custom engineering, high-speed kitting and configuration in our Atlanta facility, deployment, 24/7 support, certified repairs, expense optimization, spare pool management, all the way to sustainable ITAD and recycling—we own every step. In an industry where most players outsource chunks of the lifecycle, we wanted the video to visually prove that Stratix is built differently: one cohesive, expert team controlling the entire process to deliver that rock-solid “nonstop mobility” guarantee.

We aimed for something that feels human and approachable—not another sterile corporate explainer. The goal was to make prospects (Fortune 500 leaders, healthcare execs, education IT directors, logistics pros) think, “These guys get it. They live this every day, and they can scale it for us without dropping the ball.” It had to showcase our nearly 40 years of pure-play focus, our state-of-the-art in-house capabilities, and the real outcomes we drive: higher productivity, seamless uptime, customized solutions across multiple UEM platforms, and those impressive metrics like top-tier first-call resolution and NPS.

The outcome? I’m really proud of how it landed. The video brings the story to life with clean visuals of our facility, real workflow shots, and a narrative flow that builds trust quickly—usually in under two minutes. It doesn’t just list services; it shows the seamless handoff (or lack thereof) between stages, reinforcing why clients stick with us long-term. We’ve seen it become a powerful entry point: prospects watch it, get the “aha” moment about our end-to-end control, and jump straight into deeper conversations feeling confident we’re not just another vendor.
