Hadani Ditmars

I have three decades of experience reporting on political and cultural realities in the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas, and I am the author of Dancing in the No Fly Zone. I have served as an editor at New Internationalist and contributed to UNESCO Courier, with work published and broadcast widely from the Middle East to North America and Europe. I am a communications consultant for UN agencies, NGOs, and businesses, and I continue to write, photograph, and speak internationally on culture, heritage, and social development.

My work spans journalism, travel writing, documentary storytelling, and cultural criticism, with a focus on resilience, heritage, and artistic resistance in conflict and post-conflict contexts. I aim to bridge scholarship and public discourse through narrative, imagery, and multi-media storytelling.
