I am a cinematographer, video editor, and colorist dedicated to crafting emotionally resonant visuals and stories that linger long after the screen fades to black. My love for filmmaking started in childhood, cutting together videos on early editing software, and evolved into professional work by age 21, when I shot and edited my first feature film. Since then, I’ve served as cinematographer on two feature films—co-directing, editing and color grading one of them.
With a foundation in music, I approach filmmaking with a deep sensitivity to rhythm, timing, and mood. This allows me to blend image and sound in a way that feels intuitive, textured, and alive. My technical expertise includes DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro, and advanced AI animation pipelines. My creative approach adapts seamlessly across genres, whether narrative, documentary, commercial, or stylized hybrid formats.
What drives me is collaboration: taking someone’s vision, emotion, or idea and translating it into moving imagery that feels honest, cinematic, and intentional.
After stepping away from the industry to travel and raise my family, I’ve returned with renewed purpose, sharper instincts, and a global perspective that informs my storytelling.
In 1985 four teenage friends from South Atlanta, Georgia, come of age and put their stamp on the emerging Southern Hip-Hop wave that swept across the South during the 1980s. The film also showcases the amazing Atlanta “YEEK” Dance Culture, a style of dancing unique to Atlanta. “YEEKIN” as ATLiens call it, displays unbridled energy, style and flare. YEEKIN, without question, rivaled New York’s Break Dancing culture. Yeekin gave Atlanta teens their own Southern hip-hop identity.
