In honor of all those who dedicate themselves to helping others. 📜 For four thousand years, the Seven Guides have lived among us. Every fifty years, one of them returns to life in a new body and with a renewed spirit. Each of these Guides carries a mission. Through their innate talents, they lead a group of young people and stand against the forces of evil. The most recent Guide was born with an extraordinary gift for art. He guided countless teenagers along the artistic path and helped them grow through creativity. Under the name Saeid, he continues to astonish young artists with his music, his instrument, and his remarkable design skills. The last time the forces of evil targeted the youth, Saeid picked up his instrument, put on his galactic cloak, and confronted them. A cloak that carries a whole galaxy within it… an instrument through which the floating orbs around his hands and feet awaken… and a spear forged from art itself. His main power in battle is the set of small orbs orbiting his wrists and ankles. But these are far more than simple stones. Each one seems to reflect a piece of his very essence. ✏️ I designed this character based on one of the greatest teachers I’ve ever had https://www.twine.net/signin The full process took around five hours: about two and a half hours for the sketch, line art, and flat colors, and another two and a half hours for lighting and final rendering. Floating seated pose to express a mystical aura A musical instrument inspired by the Setar A spear designed after a metal calligraphy pen Small orbs around the hands and feet, inspired by something my teacher once said: “If I ever drew myself, I’d draw myself as a sphere.” concept_art character characterdesigner conceptartist conceptart digitalpainting digitalart illustrator designer
    uniE621 Black pawn
I designed this character inspired by the black pawn in chess. The most striking thing about the pawn, for me, is its simplicity—but if it reaches the end of the board, it can transform into a queen. That’s why I incorporated the spirit of a queen, in a magical form, behind the character, with their eyes connected. I also used the pawn itself on the top of the flag and the sword’s handle, and placed two inverted pawns on the character’s belt. concept_art character characterdesigner conceptartist conceptart digitalpainting digitalart designer illustrator
    uniE621 Yavar
In honor of all those who were forgotten… Yavar was the chief commander of Nader Shah Afshar’s army—the force behind every Iranian victory, powered by his magical abilities. His magical power came from the spirit of the Iranian land and was channeled through his special axe. Whenever Yavar charged at his enemies, he unleashed this magic, and the axe even transferred its power to his horse, Rahs. Together, Yavar and Rahs struck down enemies in every battle, never sparing a single one. He fought for his homeland until his last drop of blood, and in the final years of Nader Shah’s reign, he was killed in battle. Yet, his name was never recorded in history—Yavar was lost in the dark alleys of time. I designed this character to honor all those throughout history who achieved great deeds but were never remembered. The design incorporates historical references from the Afsharid era in Iran: _Afsharid helmet with two bird feathers _Afsharid axe, the main weapon of the era _Chainmail armor from the Afsharid period _Circular shield used in Afsharid times _Long ropes attached to the side of the horse’s saddle concept_art character characterdesigner conceptartist conceptart digitalpainting digitalart illustrator
    uniE621 The Twin’s Curse
Kinam and Ixchel are twins. When they were born, the tribe’s shaman declared that they had come into the world on a cursed day and that both must be killed on their 13th birthday. Thirteen years later, on the day of their birthday, the twins were thrown into a river to make their deaths look like an accident to the rest of the tribe. However, Kinam was rescued downstream by people from another village and survived — but he grew up with deep hatred toward his original tribe. Years later, with the help of the new tribe’s shaman, he used dark magic to bring his sister back to life. But since they were twins, their souls became spiritually bound to one another. Kinam also gained the power of the White Crystals — a rare form of pure magic. Soon after, the two returned to their old tribe and slaughtered everyone who had taken part in their attempted sacrifice. I focused on creating strong contrast between light and shadow to express their inner conflict . In designing this character, I wanted to show that every action in this world creates a reaction. If the first tribe hadn’t thrown the children into the river because of their superstitions, none of these tragic events would ever have happened. character_designe conceptart illustrator designer
