I am Harry Choreus, a filmmaker, editor, and cinematographer driven by a deep desire to fuse science and art through meaningful documentary cinema. I believe film can do far more than entertain—it can illuminate, inspire, teach, and support mental wellbeing. My work aims to uncover psychological depth and harness the power of storytelling to help people better understand themselves and the world around them. I have developed my craft through decades of filmmaking alongside studies in psychology and philosophy. Over the past five years, I have immersed myself even more deeply in therapeutic contexts, refining my understanding of how narrative, emotion, and healing intersect. In 2024, I committed fully to this direction and began preparing to pursue a PhD to ground my work in rigorous research. My goal is to bridge film studies, affective neuroscience, and education to open new pathways for Finnish cinema and to create accessible, story-based tools for self-reflection.
