Work Experience

Camera Operator, Editor, Sound Editor, and Colourist at Project for Community Solidarity Stroud District
January 25, 2026 - March 1, 2026
For this project, I collaborated with fellow filmmakers to produce an observational short documenting a memorial service. At the event, I operated one camera as part of a multi-camera shoot. Following the event, I synched the audio and video material, before editing together a five minute piece, switching between different perspectives, selecting engaging and appropriate b-roll, and selecting key moments from a large number of speeches. I also completed a basic sound edit, balancing different audio tracks and adding music, then went on to complete the colour grade. This was a collaborative process between not only myself and the crew, but with the charity we were creating the piece for, involving multiple cuts and responding effectively to feedback.

Working as part as a crew of other students, we created a variety of both video and photo content for a local small business to promote a variety of products coming into the holiday season. I synched the audio and video recordings then edited this into short form, promotional content for social media, producing a range of videos on different topics. I also colour corrected a large number of product photos for use on the store's website.

I am currently studying a degree focusing on practical filmmaking. I completed the first half of my degree at the University of Gloucestershire before making the decision to transfer to another course that I feel will bring greater opportunities. I have gained a lot of skills in my course so far, including experience in narrative, fiction, documentary, visual style, editing, camera operation, colour grading, and working collaboratively in video and film production.

    Holocaust Day Memorial Video for Community Solidarity Stroud District

    This project was created as part of a crew tasked to create a short, observational style film to document a local event observing Holocaust Memorial Day. At the event, I had the role of camera operator, working as part of a multi-camera set up. Following the event, I took on the role of editor, selecting key moments from speeches, appropriate and interesting b-roll, and maintaining an engaging flow and pace of the overall film, balancing showcasing the event and creating a cinematic, artistic final product. I finished the film with a simple sound edit and colour grade to enhance the group’s outcome.
