I am Parisa Borazjani, an English translator of professional contexts (literature, philosophy, movies, arts, science, computers) and an English tutor, a researcher in the fields of literature, classic Iranian poems and mythology, an experimental moviemaker, advertisement and media-content creator, a performer, and an artist in general. I have a BA in English translation from a Zand Higher education Institute and I had studied my MA in linguistics in Shiraz governmental University. I started translating English contexts as a self-developed job since 2013, the first year of my college, since then I have been improving my translating and text-editing and even writing skills. I have a free-style translation and my literature and philosophy are my preferences in translation. I had started my education in moviemaking together with my college. I achieved my BA in moviemaking from IYCS in Shiraz city, during and after which I started experimental and amateur different moviemaking processes such as writing, directing, editing, acting, cinematography, lighting, photography and movie criticizing. One year after I have finished my moviemaking courses, I was introduced to a conceptual performance art group named “Panjereh”, which brought me the experience for 4 street performances, during a 2-year cooperation. and in December 2020, I have been honored to work with a new Performance group to present a performance-exhibition named “Gerateh”, which was the only performance with that group. As for now I have been mastered in creative writing, idea-developing, directing, character and costume design and creating performance art.
