I’m Himali Kothari, a freelance writer and creative editor who writes on design, lifestyle, architecture, business, finance, travel, and more. My short stories and plays have appeared in four anthologies, and the German translation of my short story 'A Vow to Protect' was featured on ATT on Air by Deutsches Theatre Berlin. I’ve also co-authored 'Between You and Me', a short film created by a team of Indian and European artists funded by the Asian European Foundation. As a theatre practitioner, I edit texts for Readings in the Shed since 2018, shaping the voice of twenty-seven performances to date. I co-wrote The Bose Legacy for Playpen Performing Arts Trust, which opened at NCPA in January 2020 and has since been developed into a cine-play. In 2024 I was invited to Berlin by Deutsches Theatre to participate in their annual playwright festival, and I worked on Project 87, an archival theatre project mentored by Ramu Ramanathan.
