Joseph Jakicevich

I’m a graphic designer with four years of experience spanning visual identity, publication, packaging and art direction. I began my career in-house at ACQUIRE, helping shape marketing and campaign communications, and later at Sunshine Brewery, where I developed label designs that earned two bronze medals at the Australian International Beer Awards. For the past two years I’ve worked freelance, extending my experience into publication design and brand development for clients across Australia and Aotearoa.

Outside of my professional work, I’m developing KAUPAPA, an annual publication rooted in Te Ao Māori. It weaves together voices from emerging and established artists across multiple mediums and worldviews, united by creating in passion rather than prescription. Managing this project has deepened my understanding of curation and editorial practice, sharpened my ability to coordinate many contributors, and strengthened my ability to maintain a cohesive conceptual vision. I’m now seeking to contribute to an agency environment where collaboration and pace drive growth.
