My name is Holly Keating, and I am an LGBTQI freelancing director, illustrator and general production creative from Ireland that has been working in the film and animation industry since 2018. My past clients include The Irish National Opera, The Irish Embassy and Outhouse Dublin, to name a few. My passion lies in image based story telling, and I love to use big bold characters, lush colours and comprehensive scenes to tell my, or my clients, stories. In the past I worked in an animation studio in Dublin as a studio runner and production coordinator on projects that mixed 3D, 2D and live action shots, as well as coordinating Animation Dingle - an international animation festival that brought together students and global animation moguls. In my time as a runner I maintained the upkeep of the office, organised meetings, coordinated daily tasks to ensure the smooth running of every department. I also moved into a development coordinator in this time, taking and distributing notes, coordinating writing rooms and meetings as well as shadowing showrunners and directors. I have a Masters Degree in Animation Production, and I am extremely comfortable and proficient in the production pipeline, as well as the usual production software’s such as as the Google Suite, Adobe Suite, Procreate, Excel and Slack etc., and have excellent soft skills such as great communication, strong initiative, and very quick to pick up new softwares and processes.
