Hugo Goudswaard

I’m Hugo Goudswaard, a director, cinematographer and photographer specializing in travel and storytelling.

With a background from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, I create cinematic travel films that translate atmosphere, culture and authentic human encounters into immersive visual narratives. I write scripts and develop story concepts for destination brands and hospitality companies, focusing on emotional resonance rather than surface tourism imagery. My work makes experiences tangible through light, rhythm, sound and sensory detail. I don’t document places; I reveal how they feel.
