Currently writing poetry for spoken word projects and also children's fiction. I grew up in a small rural village in Staffordshire. My father loves books and read to me from a very young age. I can remember him reading me the Wind in the Willows when I was maybe 3 or 4 years old. The tales of the river bank and fights between badger and the stoats gripped me each night and I looked forward to bedtime. As I grew up and began reading to myself I became fascinated by tales of Narnia and Middle Earth. My favourite books were written by J.R.R. Tolkien, especially the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings.
