I was instrumental in producing, directing and part-filming and editing the initial series of 10 programmes for Bauer Media for Practical Classics, sponsored by Amazon. Filmed at the Practical Classics workshop, the ten programmes showed how two classics were restored using parts and services from Amazon.

Just a few examples of productions I have edited. I am a skilled Premiere editor - I also teach Premiere at beginner, intermediate and advanced level.

I have a fully-equipped edit system with a powerful computer, 25 Tb of local storage, colour-accurate monitors, and physical control surfaces for both colour grading and audio balancing. I also have a late-model Macbook Pro for remote editing.

My editing rates are very reasonable and I am willing to do a deal for block bookings.

This reel shows the wide range of work I get involved with. Anything from industrial test rigs to TV commercials for paint!

When budgets are tight I have a solution.

Of course, one person can only get so much done in one day whereas two or more people can achieve a lot more, but for many requirements, a single person is all you need.

I have a full broadcast shooting kit with a wide ranges of lenses, microphones, lights and all accessories needed for most eventualities. I have shot all over the UK and abroad.

I have shot all footage on this reel and edited most as well. (Some I wrote too!)

Both After Effects-based animations were produced by a talented freelancer working for me, whilst final editing and captioning was carried out by me. (Although I am reasonably competent in After Effects and even teach it at beginner/intermediate level, something like this is best left to the experts; not only are they quicker but better too!)

Producing explainer videos is something I do a lot of and clients appreciate the fact that I normally get the technical stuff right quite quickly, as well as being able to help them with the right approach and tone of voice for an authentic B-to-B sell.

I have made a lot of automotive content and this reel illustrates some of them: From the Goodwood Festival of Speed to car reviews for Car & Diving, I’ve spent more than a few hours shooting and editing car-related content - and of course, I’d love to do more!
