I'm Blake McCathie, also known as Igualibrium, a composer, sound engineer and multi-instrumentalist based in Newcastle, Australia. I've been drumming since 2004 and playing keyboard since 2013, performing with multiple bands and crafting melodies for covers and originals. I’ve evolved from keyboard loops and samples to professional sounds using DAWs such as Cubase, and I’m passionate about creating enchanting, memorable music. As a Mobile Drum and Piano Tutor for over a decade, I’ve taught students of all ages and helped them grow their musical skills. I’ve freelanced as a composer and producer for local projects, worked with The Music Bus, and dabbled in sales and hospitality roles, bringing creativity and reliability to every project.
