With over 15 years of international experience in creative production, cinema, and visual arts, I have built a career dedicated to crafting visual narratives that merge poetic realism, memory, and the human experience. Having worked across London, Italy, and Portugal, I bring a deep understanding of both artistic and commercial production environments, from concept development to final delivery. During my 12 years in London, I refined my technical and storytelling skills through an editorial internship at the British Museum and collaborations with leading film and advertising agencies such as RSA (Ridley Scott Associates) and Smoke & Mirrors. In Italy I expanded into fashion and commercial production, collaborating on audiovisual projects for Nike, Fila, Max Mara, and GQ Italy. These years honed my ability to translate brand identity into compelling visual narratives while maintaining high artistic standards. As a filmmaker and producer, my work has been showcased at the Barbican Centre, Sadler’s Wells Theatre, and the Victoria & Albert Museum. I co-founded the collectives MAGMA and TOR, leading multidisciplinary collaborations with significant international visibility. More recently, my documentaries Spirit Animal and Memories have earned recognition, with Spirit Animal winning Best Project at the Biography Film Festival and both titles gaining access to international markets such as IDFA. Now based in Lisbon, I am eager to contribute to cinematic, creative, or editorial production teams that value vision, cross-cultural collaboration, and artistic integrity.

A hair raising profile of a high-wire walker striking a balance between danger and discovery.
Andrea—the subject of directorial duo Yuri Pirondi and Ines von Bonhorst’s latest film—is a high-wire walker. Treading far above the ground with a mixture of caution and sure-footed confidence, the expert performer (who also holds a PhD in philosophy) struck the filmmakers not only because of his artistry, but for his patient and insightful view on life.
The resulting film is not simply a dare-devil profile, but a symbolic and dreamlike journey where the wire represents the “timeline of our lives,” as Pirondi and von Bonhorst explain. In Andrea’s dream, reality and the subconscious merge through his stream of consciousness". This conceptual approach to the hair-raising spectacle also influenced the choice of location—Bagnoregio, where Italian auteur Federico Fellini filmed “his ciruqesque masterpiece La Strada, whose landscapes feel suspended and create a perfect environment for a dream-like imaginary.”
