The Learning Crew is an animated educational story about seven elementary-school classmates learning the value of teamwork, persistence, and learning from mistakes.
The story follows the group as they take on a classroom challenge to build a structure using recycled materials. When their first attempt collapses, they have to work together, rethink their approach, and try again. The story also follows the children through playful learning activities involving numbers and shapes, including helping one of their classmates solve an addition problem.
I created the project as a character-driven animated experience, focusing on expressive characters, colorful school environments, clear storytelling, and consistent visuals across the different scenes. I handled the AI-assisted character and scene creation, visual direction, animation, scene sequencing, and final editing to bring the story together.
The project was designed around a simple idea: Learn. Play. Grow. Together.
The project involved taking the concept from an initial idea through character and scene development, AI image and video generation, prompt refinement, animation, and final editing. I also worked on the pacing and sequencing of the scenes to make the story easy to follow while keeping the visuals engaging.
