Hello, my name is Iris Deltheil-Tourrenc and I’m a textile designer based in Paris. I love “revealing” atmospheres: I turn my inspirations into sensitive, bold visual worlds. I love blending colors, materials, and trends.

Trained in textile design at the Haute École Francisco Ferrer in Brussels, I’ve built my practice around original pattern creation and moodboards, with a solid command of Adobe tools. I was notably an assistant to wallpaper artist Pascale Risbourg in Brussels, which allowed me to refine my skills in color, material, and pattern repeats.

My graduation project was a wallpaper collection where I connected the stripe motif to my disability: dyspraxia. The project took a weakness and turned it into a strength, through an inclusive design approach. From original illustration (hand drawing, screen printing) through to print-ready files, I produced 3 wallpapers. This project earned me the Prix Innovation et Créativité de la Ville de Bruxelles.

OBJECTIVE: Creation of three wallpapers blending art and inclusivity as part of a final year project.

TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Independently design a complete project, from artistic direction to production
-Create moodboards translating personal experiences into a visual universe
-Develop original patterns using rhythmic compositions, contrasts, and textures
-Propose an inclusive approach to design in response to a contemporary challenge

RESULT: Project exhibited at the Van der Borght Space in Brussels; 1st Prize for Originality and Creativity in Brussels.
