HostNodex

HostNodex is a self-service cloud hosting platform: an IaaS product where customers order and manage KVM virtual private servers entirely on their own. It is a complete, operating SaaS, with provisioning, billing, authentication, and monitoring built and run as a single production system.

What it does

Self-service VPS ordering and management of KVM instances on fast NVMe storage.
Subscription billing and the full customer lifecycle through Stripe.
Secure accounts protected by two-factor authentication (TOTP).
Reseller layer so partners can offer hosting on top of the platform.

How it is built

Backend: Python and Flask on PostgreSQL.
Infrastructure: KVM virtualization on self-hosted Linux, served through nginx.
Billing: Stripe subscriptions and lifecycle management.
Operations: Docker-based deployment with containerized CI/CD and Prometheus monitoring.

My role

Founding engineer and product owner. Solo-built and operated across 1100+ commits, owning the roadmap and the entire stack from the bare Linux host up to the shipped product.

Projektbevis

Projektbevis turns the SMS and MMS that field crews already send into audit-ready project documentation. There is no new app for the crew to learn: they text photos and updates from the job site the way they always have, and Projektbevis captures, timestamps, and files every message into a clean, per-project record.

What it does

Zero-friction capture of SMS/MMS straight from the crew’s normal texting, so nothing changes on their side.
Organized by project and tenant, with every message, photo, and note timestamped and searchable.
Office web admin to review, structure, and export the documentation as proof of work delivered.

How it is built

Android capture: a Kotlin foreground service for reliable, always-on SMS/MMS ingestion.
Backend: two FastAPI services plus a Flask admin UI on SQLAlchemy and PostgreSQL.
Multi-tenant SaaS: isolated tenants with organizations, projects, teams, invites, and billing.
Operations: fully Dockerized and self-hosted, with Prometheus metrics and GDPR-by-design data handling.

My role

Sole developer and operator, end to end: the Android capture service, the backend services, the admin UI, the data model, multi-tenancy, billing, and the self-hosted deployment.
