My main focus in design in contextual design, communication with images and illustration. My relationship with art started during my childhood when I attended the school of folk art. Painting and drawing is what drove me to study Graphic Design. During my studies in applied arts I was taught to relax, break apart from the rules, find my own style and most importantly not to think too much about what I was doing. In Graphic Design I learned about the necessity of a process, the existence of certain rules which must be followed, about balance of colours and white space. I was always being reminded that “what is less is more“. From my perspective it is best to take a little of both. Most of the year I live in Prague where I study and work. During the summer, I also spend four months in Crete where I work as a freelancer too.
