For me, colour grading has always been about storytelling. I began my journey as a colourist in 2010 and have since had the opportunity to contribute to more than 30 Indonesian feature films, along with music videos, wedding films, and a variety of other creative productions. While the projects may differ in scale and format, I approach each one with the same belief: every story deserves its own visual identity. I see colour as more than a technical process. It is a way of shaping emotion, atmosphere, and the audience's experience of a story. The role of a colourist is not to impose a style, but to understand the intention behind a project and help bring that vision to the screen. Working across different types of productions has taught me to adapt, collaborate, and appreciate the unique character of every project. Whether the final image is destined for a cinema screen or a more intimate audience, I believe the craft and attention to detail should remain the same. I continue to be inspired by filmmaking and the creative people behind it. Every project is an opportunity to learn something new, to solve creative challenges, and to contribute to stories that connect with people through powerful and honest imagery.
