A prolific musician, he has worked in a number of genres, including Sci-Fi thriller (Ghostmaker), horror (Rugaru, Neighborhood Watch), comedy (Soul Talkin') as well as documentaries (No Time for Tears, Listen to the Hands of Our People). Prolific on the independent film scene, José Herring has scored over two dozen films, one TV series, 2 documentaries and a commercial spot that have played on NBC Universal Networks, HBO, PBS, National Geographic Television, as well as foreign and domestic distribution.
