About 50 +/- active projects over roughly 4 years. Covid wiped out what was left of it in 2020. After that I did a few surveys each month, nothing to sneeze at. Finally gave up in Feb 2024, with no work left to do. NDAs say I can't disclose who the clients were or what names of projects, I did. But most was company evals, product evals, comparisons, & some mapping correction. I did do a bit of video or audio comparisons, some light bits of ad rating(wasn't into that!) & some annotation/labeling. I took unemployment after this gig was halted, in the earlier phases of the pandemic. Some was federal money, some state funds. That lasted 18 months, then abruptly ended, as my state cut the program from millions of recipients! I have yet since, to find similar work, with any AI company! But very actively seeking it!!

Was attempting a 2 year Journalism degree, but dropped out after pre-reqs & a few core courses ended. My grandfather died & the grief & lack of financial aid, forced me to pay out-of-pocket, so I was out. I had earned about 20 credits out of 60, by then. Couldn't pay back any loans. And I was also working in salons & retail 30- hours a week, alongside the 20 or so weekly hours I had in my classes! It wore me down.

Cosmetology at Traviss Tech Center

January 1, 1994 - June 1, 1995

2 years Cosmetology, some day classes, some night. Got GED the 1st term in. Graduated a year & half later. Got state board tested that Fall, got 1st salon job a month or so outta beauty school. That career lasted 20 years. Licensing was updated every 2 years, til 2014. I was in tech school for Cyber jobs, by then. Salon work wore my body down! Though mentally I still find myself behind a chair, lol. Just can't stand up as much anymore, too much physical fatigue & pain....
