Hello, My Name is Jeremy Gooch, I have been working as a professional 3D Artist and Illustrator since 2018. I began my formal education in art back in 2000 after graduating high school but got side tracked by enlisting in the US Army as I felt I had an obligation to serve my country in what I knew was an up coming conflict and earn the rights I felt I took for granted. After serving for 8 years I once again sought my education in art and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Game Art from Full Sail University in 2013. While I have continued to seek a position in an art field I have attended many art courses, both digital and physical mediums, in order to continue to build upon my skills. Throughout my experiences I have also gained a great deal of exposure in working with a team and meeting deadlines and I feel that this with my combined art skills would make me an excellent candidate for a team member in a creative art department. I have excellent communication skills and work well with others. I am able to listen to others viewpoints and take constructive criticism while working on a project and I am always open to and seeking new ideas and don’t feel that I need to stick to my initial ideas. I am a very creative person and am able to look outside the box for find solutions, both artistically and administratively, to a problem and am able to use initiative to implement those ideas. This has served me well as a soldier as well as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and I know it would be a benefit in the fast paced creative industry.
