Cricket & Antoinette is the first Croatian 3D animated feature film. Inspired by Aesop’s famous fable and Jean de La Fontaine’s poem about the cricket and the ant, it achieved great success in Croatian cinemas and was distributed in more than 70 countries worldwide.
Ket, a guitar-playing cricket, leads a band that entertains the carefree bugs. Nearby lives Antoinette, the heiress of the anthill, where music is forbidden and only discipline and hard work are allowed. They meet by accident, and affection grows between them. Antoinette tries to warn the crickets about the upcoming winter, but to no avail.
When Antheodor, an overambitious ant, kidnaps her, it is Ket and his friends who come to her rescue.
BAT glo Pop-Up Zone Project
The concept behind the project was to introduce an unexpected element of nature into the busy, colorful environment of a shopping mall — creating a space that invites relaxation and curiosity.
The minimalist design is based on maximum openness, without physical barriers, allowing visitors to approach the corner naturally and freely. A sense of lightness and transparency — one of the brand’s key communication values — is emphasized through clear structural elements used for the tables and stools, creating the impression that surfaces are floating in space.
The tables were designed with rotating top panels that reveal hidden storage space while also functioning as presentation surfaces.
To further engage passersby, the installation included a personalized interactive experience. Visitors were visually invited to “step into the circle,” after which a hidden screen inside the totem displayed randomly generated personal messages communicating the brand’s values. The message was then printed on a card containing promotional product information.
The goal was to create a positive and shareable experience, encouraging users to post it on social media and generating additional organic brand visibility.
Materials used included Corian, solid wood, transparent plexiglass, black leather, stabilized Icelandic moss, and high-quality artificial grass.
