A Brisbane-Based games studio that strives to create deep and strategic, yet light-hearted games. Driven by a nostalgia for early 2000’s PC gaming, and inspired by their passion for board games and tabletop games, they endeavour to recapture the low-fidelity charm that defined the era. Key Responsibilities: - Remotely leading team members across several disciplines to produce app architecture, design, and implementation strategies. - Leading the design and implementation of Rob & Roll’s overall code architecture. - Designing and documenting the mechanics and thematics of Rob & Roll (and everything else). - Implementing and integrating a variety of game assets produced by other team members. - Assigning and tracking tasks across team members from various disciplines. - Organising and leading team meetings. - Managing grants and budgets. Handsome Dragon Games are a group of independent game developers based in Brisbane. We are a team of dedicated developers that have come together to put our all into making games. Brought together during a university project called 'Dyadic'​, we've now released it and several others onto the market. And we're not stopping here! As Lead Developer, I’m all about designing the game itself and keeping everything on track. As such, my roles consist primarily of designing and refining the mechanics, designing and constructing the levels, as well as making sure everyone else has what they need to complete their assigned tasks, and ensuring the project stay as on schedule as possible. Additionally, I also act as one of the team's core programmers, implementing mechanics and systems, as well as creating the technical specifications for each title. Our first major project 'Dyadic' was Greenlit by the Steam Community and has been released on the Steam storefront as of February 26 2016. Dyadic has also been released on Nintendo Switch as of February 24th 2023.
