Based in Germany, I have been working as a freelancer for several years, building on a solid foundation in both practical and digital visual effects. My career began with a dual vocational training as a Media Designer at Panasensor GmbH, a German Postproduction, where I gained hands-on experience in production design, storyboarding, model building, and 35mm motion control camera. This transition from physical sets to the digital realm continued at Framestore in Frankfurt, where I further refined my expertise as a Production Designer and Digital Artist. Most recently, I spent eight years at Magna Mana FX Postproduction GmbH, where I specialized as a Digital Matte Painter, Editor, Illustrator and Compositor. A personal career highlight is my Sci-Fi feature film, Nydenion, which I wrote, produced, and released. This project, along with my freelance work, has given me a comprehensive understanding of the entire VFX pipeline—from green-screen photography and miniatures to 3D animation. Steampunk Pirate Lady Painting
Steampunk character painting. I repainted the whole scenery from a bright daylight to a darker setting which helped to get more focus to the character. I used some references but painted mostly from my imagination which was a good practice. I hope you like it. Photoshop CS, Wacom Intuos III no cheats as usual...
    Whispering Death Painting
Personal project painting. I like to pay a little tribute to the great model kit box art of the 1970's. I sometimes need hours for the research, there was no exception here. The painting itself took me about 30 hours, I couldent resist to paint an awefull ammount of detail. Photoshop CS, no 3D, used a diecast model as reference.
    Mars Explorer
Commission Concept work of a Mars Spaceship. Photoshop, digital painting, no 3D.
    In good company
Commission work of a C-17 Globemaster transporter accompanied by a pair of F-15 fighters from Bitburg airbase. They have met somewhere over the Rhine river on a nightly transport mission. Many hours of painting and research went into this, as the planes from this era had to be labeled historically correct. I didn't have much reference night clouds, so I did most from my imagination. Photoshop, digital painting, no 3D.
    Love and War
This is a personal project. It supposed to be a declaration of love, booth for aviators and artists. Digital Painting, no 3D just some references. Don't ask me how long it took me, I'm addicted to detail...
    Flying Cadillacs
Personal Project inspired by aviation art painters I tried to be most historical correct. Photoshop - no 3D, no cheats - just painting with some references and a model kit.
Global War - 1985 Cold War
“I had the incredible opportunity to bring the world of "Global War" to life! For Historical Board Games revamped tabletop classic, I illustrated over 10 box art covers—ranging from Classic WW1 Tank Battles to Futuristic Arctic Battlegrounds. Having the creative freedom to define the mood and atmosphere for each piece was a dream; it allowed me to ensure every vessel truly commanded the spotlight.”
Finstere Stadt - Mainrame - Book Cover
I had the honor of painting the new book cover for the great author Markus Korb: “Finstere Stadt – Mainframe”, his second science fiction novel in this series, published by Verlag Torsten Low. It was a great pleasure for me to create this artwork, as I am a huge fan of science fiction and fantasy myself. The artwork was painted completely digitally, and another artwork from this series will be released soon.
Dystopian Wars - Tian Long Scene
I had the incredible opportunity to bring the world of Dystopian Wars to life! For Warcradle Studios’ revamped tabletop classic, I illustrated over 30 box art covers—ranging from colossal battleships and towering war-machines to gravity-defying flying cities. Having the creative freedom to define the mood and atmosphere for each piece was a dream; it allowed me to ensure every vessel truly commanded the spotlight.
Dystopian Wars - Sultanate Battlefleet Anatolia
I had the incredible opportunity to bring the world of Dystopian Wars to life! For Warcradle Studios’ revamped tabletop classic, I illustrated over 30 box art covers—ranging from colossal battleships and towering war-machines to gravity-defying flying cities. Having the creative freedom to define the mood and atmosphere for each piece was a dream; it allowed me to ensure every vessel truly commanded the spotlight.
