I’m Jacopo Mazza, a composer, producer, and mixing engineer working across film, games, and narrative-driven audiovisual projects. My work is rooted in cinematic writing, atmospheric score, and hybrid electronic production, with jazz influences informing my harmonic language and phrasing.
Trained at the G. Verdi Conservatory of Milan in jazz performance, I continue to develop my approach through studies in classical composition and orchestration. I build musical worlds for brands, artists, and documentaries, with credits including collaborations with Billy Martin (Good Charlotte), NSTASIA, and Keith Middleton (STOMP), as well as work for Miele, Zeiss, Martin Lawrence, Danketsu, and RAI documentaries. I also develop original narrative-led projects such as Unsettled.

Composed the original score for the fantasy audiobook Soeliok, creating a cohesive sonic world designed to support its narrative depth and immersive atmosphere. The work focused on thematic writing and the development of a distinctive palette capable of evolving across the story, enhancing worldbuilding while maintaining clarity and continuity throughout.
Composed the original score for Embryom Chronicles: The Last Doctrine (dir. Giulio Fulchignoni), developing a distinctive sonic palette that blends orchestral writing, electronic textures, and sound design to support the film’s narrative and atmosphere. The work included thematic composition, timbral research, and the creation of a cohesive sound world across the film, as well as the stereo mix of the official soundtrack.
Wrote, produced, and mixed original songs for the multimedia project Danketsu, contributing to its sonic identity through a wide range of musical genres and a strong focus on artist-driven songwriting. The work involved close collaboration with a diverse roster of artists, including Billy Martin (Good Charlotte), shaping tracks that balance narrative intent with a cohesive and contemporary sound.
Composed the original score for I Nuovi Eroi (RAI3), creating a cohesive sonic identity designed to support the emotional tone and narrative arc of the docuseries. The work focused on developing themes and textures that could adapt across different stories, blending cinematic writing with subtle electronic elements to enhance storytelling without overpowering it.
