Jade Butterfield

Youthful, LGBTQ+ Northern actor with a dynamic presence and a love for bold, character-driven stories.

Recent work includes the feature film Giant (2025), which premiered at the BFI London Film Festival, and Finding Emily. I also played Lulu in Tree, appeared as Parker in Colours of You and Ava in Blackout, and recently shot promotional stills for Javaad Alipoor’s new play Elmet. I am currently in the early stages of developing my limited series.

Known for my bright, grounded energy and natural screen presence, I bring curiosity, playfulness, and a love of storytelling to every project. Outside of acting, I’m passionate about history, reading, ballet, classical music, theatre, as well as anything creative. I’m a huge animal lover and confident working with them. I hold a valid British passport (expires October 2035).
