Having grown up in a musical family, I learnt to play instruments at an early age. After completing my A-levels, I undertook a music-related pre-university training course to become an ensemble director. I studied at the Institute of Music and Media at the Robert Schumann University of Music in Düsseldorf and graduated with a Bachelor of Music. During my time at university, I spent two semesters on an ERASMUS+ exchange programme at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, at the Institute for Computer Music and Sound Art.
