Edit, clean, process, and mix dialogue and spoken-word recordings for church services and productions. Remove unwanted noise, distractions, pauses, and inconsistencies while maintaining a natural vocal character. Enhance clarity and intelligibility using corrective EQ, compression, dynamics processing, filtering, and level management. Process vocal and podium microphone recordings for clear, balanced speech. Balance dialogue with music and other elements for consistent levels. Perform critical listening to identify noise, distortion, tonal imbalance, excessive dynamics, and other artifacts. Operate digital/analog mixing systems for live production including front-of-house and monitor mixing. Troubleshoot audio issues in real time and optimize microphones, loudspeakers, gain structure, EQ, and processing. Conduct phase/time alignment and perform frequency response/impulse/room behavior measurements using professional tools.
