Hello, I’m Jamie Robertson, a UK-based composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist with a First Class BMus (Hons) in Performance and a Distinction MA in Music. I work remotely on original music for collaborations, with a focus on soundscapes, electroacoustic composition and experimental music for screen. My recent project Automation in Live Music investigates how evolving technologies shape live performance across eras, treating technology as a storytelling subject.
I blend ambient and experimental sound art with jazz-inflected melodies, supported by extensive experience in Logic Pro, field recording, and acoustic ecology. With a versatile instrumental palette (piano, organ, double bass) and live performance experience, I craft hybrid scores that feel human and tangible even when exploring automated or electronic textures. I’m committed to reliable remote collaboration, structured milestones, and iterative feedback to realize a client’s creative vision.
