After completing a BMus (Hons) and MA in Music and Composition, I have a passion for all things creative, with a sweet spot for audio. Inspired by ‘Ayo visto lo mappamundi’ (‘I have seen the world map’), originally composed during the 16th and 17th centuries in Spain, ‘A Cartographer’s Legend’ captures the essence of setting out to explore lands unknown. Encapsulating the loneliness of the open sea, the excitement of a new journey and the underlying trepidation at what might be discovered, ‘A Cartographer’s Legend’ leads the audience on a journey of its own.
