Jen Campbell is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Washington D.C. Her commercial work includes stop-motion animations, still life photography, and short films. She is a graduate of Columbia University in New York City, where she received a BA in Art History with a focus on the history of photography. Her animations build on the quirky, colorful, and hand-made aesthetic of her still life photography, often incorporating plants, paper and found objects into whimsical and evocative films. Her animated short films have been screened in festivals including NYC’s Animation Block Party, Northside Film Festival, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, and The London Fashion Film Festival, and others.
