I am a screenwriter and writer-director completing my MFA in Film and Media Art at Emerson College, based between Boston and Los Angeles. My work focuses on character-driven drama, psychological tension, noir, dark humor, cultural conflict, and contained stories built around strong dialogue and emotional pressure.
I have written and directed several award-recognized short films, including Not A Typical Alien, an official selection of the Roxbury International Film Festival and Honorable Mention recipient from The Comedy Film Festival. My earlier short Buddhist Mantra and Tristesse screened internationally in Paris, Istanbul, and New York. I am also the writer of Tai Chi, a neo-noir feature screenplay set in 2001 Boston Chinatown, currently being submitted to screenwriting labs and competitions.
I specialize in screenwriting, adaptation, story development, character-driven structure, and contained psychological drama. I am especially interested in projects involving complex characters, moral conflict, historical or cultural material, and stories that can be produced with limited locations and strong dramatic tension.
I can help develop feature screenplays, short film scripts, treatments, outlines, pitch materials, and revisions. My background combines formal film training, independent production experience, film criticism, and hands-on directing, which allows me to think both like a writer and like a filmmaker.
