“The Lost Lines” - LINHAS PERDIDAS - Official Short Movie
Night falls. A mysterious phone is ringing in the darkness. Who’s calling from the other side?
The Lost Lines have messages for you…
Hello,
Welcome to our lost lines…
We are very excited to share this multicultural metaphor about the link between those who lived and those who are gone.
Are we, the living ones, holding the memory of the departed, creating ghosts that just want to get free?
It is the question asked and explored through « The Lost Lines ».
Smartphones are connecting us more than ever, but are we really connected to those that matter to us…? Here, the phone is like a reminiscent symbol of people who couldn’t catch up on modernity. Who refuse to live in our times.
Those who still wait by an ancient phone, for a call by a loved one.
A call that may never happen. - DannyJ
