JORAYO is an Italian composer, musician and sound designer known for his versatility across multiple musical genres. Born in Viareggio and artistically raised in Florence, he showed musical talent at a very early age. At just six years old he passed the auditions for the famous Italian children’s music competition Zecchino d’Oro, revealing a natural connection to music and performance.
During his teenage years he studied piano and keyboards at the Ceccherini Music School in Florence, where he also discovered he possessed perfect pitch. Soon after, he began performing with a pop band, playing live in major public squares in Florence and gaining valuable stage experience.
His passion for Latin music led him to perform alongside renowned artists such as Jossie Esteban, Kinito Méndez, Los Locos, Kabrú and Croma Latina.
Today JORAYO works as a composer and sound engineer, creating original music for films, short movies, documentaries and video games. His expertise includes sound design, foley, audio editing, post-production and music synchronization for picture.
He has collaborated with prestigious Italian institutions such as Titanus and Istituto Luce in Rome, developing a strong professional background in high-level audiovisual production environments.
JORAYO offers original orchestral, electronic and hybrid film scores, working with directors and producers worldwide, also remotely.
