I’m Joe DeFelice, a New York–based Director of Photography and founder of Triple Distilled Media. I shoot documentary and interview-led branded content for teams that need real stories told simply, beautifully and without a huge footprint. What I’m best at: Documentary DP (run-and-gun + controlled interviews); Cinematic interviews (single or multi-cam); Branded mini-docs + case-study films; Mobile video podcasts (Lunchcast: 'one lunch break into a month of content'). I work with lean crews, strong pre-production, calm on set, clean audio, and intentional lighting—so the story feels honest, not over-produced. If you’re a producer, nonprofit, agency, or founder who needs a story-driven video system you can repeat, let’s talk.
